PAVILION
Taking inspiration from rain drums, the steel ceiling will serve as a musical instrument that is activated when it rains, producing a chime-like symphony of organically created sounds. Inspired by the Music Box Village in New Orleans, this space allows users to enjoy the intersection of music and the natural environment by reflecting the unpredictable nature of rain in the sound produced: the harder the rain, the louder and more intense the music. Additionally, when it is not raining, the space is optimal for musicians to use as a stage. Following the same sound distribution logic as opera houses, it is designed to distribute sound equally and diffuse unwanted echos.
